Planning a Road Trip

I'm planning a trip with friends from South Jersey to Maine, culminating with going on the Stephen King Tommy-Knockers and more bus tour then coming home. Since it's no(t as much) fun just driving straight through, I'm looking for awesomeness to visit along the way. I'm searching the net for links and as I find them I will post them. The intention is to have my friends vote on the places we will visit but anyone who has been to a site of interest or knows of another place to go is welcome to vote and comment! Thanks!
